Meet the Author Behind the Words

I am Nassim El Hassouni, a writer and philosopher born in Morocco, driven by a relentless pursuit of existential truths and the contradictions that shape our lives. For the past five years, I have written purely for the sake of writing—an act that kept me alive during hard times. When life became challenging, I was breathing ink, pouring my soul onto paper. Influenced by the wisdom of Spinoza and Nietzsche and guided by the mystical teachings of Ibn Arabi, I have always embraced the challenge of questioning everything. My writing is my way of inviting readers to confront the paradoxes within themselves and explore the depth of their existence.
My published book, The Contradicted Existence, is a 100-page exploration of the human condition and the dualities that define it—being both everything and nothing, seeking meaning while embracing the absurd. The book is divided into 24 chapters, each dissecting a topic in deep, understandable language. Along with these reflections on life, it also includes some of my poems. This work marks a significant step in my creative evolution, and it sits alongside my forthcoming project—a new book set for publication in September 2025—that will further explore the human condition and the self through a psychological and philosophical lens.
I write not just to share ideas but to share a journey—one that is raw, honest, and unafraid to peer into both the darkness and the light. My goal is simple: to inspire, provoke, and awaken. I invite you to join me on this path of self-discovery—follow my journey on my website and social media or subscribe to my newsletter for updates and insights as we embrace existence together. In this life, with all its struggles and triumphs, I seek not just knowledge, but the wisdom to embrace existence as it truly is.
